Samuel Sami Everett
Samuel Sami Everett is a Researcher at the University of Southampton and Aix-Marseille Université. His research focuses on the historical-colonial and spatial-political dimensions of North African Jewish and Muslim identification. Trained in political and cultural anthropology he has a degree from INALCO in North African Language and Culture (Arabic, Berber, Judeo-Arabic). His work is located between North African, Middle Eastern, Jewish and Islamic Studies of Diaspora, dynamic urban interreligious interaction and migratory trajectories as related to the Mediterranean Sea. Liminal Waterway Countercultures is based on an original idea by Everett and Ben Gidely who co-wrote the project with the help of Yvonne Živković.
